Each word is split around its Optimal Recognition Point. The highlighted letter stays in one fixed position while the rest of the word moves around it. Punctuation and longer words receive extra time, so high WPM does not become a metronome that ignores meaning.

Newsletters, industry reports, meeting notes, saved articles and long email threads are strong fits. Start in Phrase or Focus if the topic is new, then move faster once the vocabulary becomes familiar.
Slow down when precision matters.
Contracts, equations, unfamiliar technical writing and anything you must cite exactly deserve a lower WPM or the full Page view. Comprehension is the objective. Speed is only a control.
