Welcome to SpeedRead! By accessing our website at speedread-web.com, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions of use.

1. Use License & Intellectual Property

SpeedRead provides a web-based client-side reader tool. Permission is granted to temporarily load the web app for personal, non-commercial transitory reading.

You may not:

• Attempt to decompile, reverse-engineer, or maliciously extract code from the speed-reading engine.
• Use the bookmarklet or URL extraction tools to scrap copyrighted web assets in automated bulk.
• Resell or redistribute premium features under a different brand name.

2. Disclaimer of Warranty

SpeedRead is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaim and negate all other warranties including, without limitation, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of intellectual property.

Because all document parsing, image OCR, and speech narration occur client-side, SpeedRead does not guarantee that file parsing will be error-free or compatible with every corrupt EPUB or scanned PDF structure.

3. Lifetime Premium Membership

If you upgrade to the Pro lifetime membership:

• Lifetime Premium is attached to the SpeedRead account used at checkout and includes ad-free use, unlimited document length, and Premium AI features.
• You must sign into that account to restore Premium on another browser or device.
• Account credentials are personal. Do not share, resell, or publish access to your account.
• If you clear browser storage, sign in again to restore account-linked access. Lifetime upgrades include a 14-day refund window via billing support.

4. Limitations of Liability

In no event shall SpeedRead or its developers be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit, or business interruption) arising out of the use or inability to use the speed-reading tools, even if we have been notified of the possibility of such damage.
